SOFTWARE / NEWS / MISCELLANEOUS
AVAILABLE SOFTWARE:
Below are a number of software packages made available to us by
the American Concrete Pipe association. These can be purchased
from the ACPA or made available to you from your Geneva Pipe representative
at no cost. Please be aware that the product descriptions below
are greatly abbreviated and additional information can be obtained
at the ACPA website.

PIPECAR:
PIPECAR (Pipe Culvert Analysis and Reinforcing Design) is software
developed with FHWA and ACPA as a direct design method of structural
design and analysis of concrete pipe. This version allows you
to design in accordance with ASCE, SIDD (Standard Installation
Direct Design) and AASHTO design standards.

PIPEPAC:
This software offers three different programs.
• 3EB (three edge bearing) computes loads using the Indirect
Design Method with variable bedding factors. The program can analyze
all
the standard live loads – truck, aircraft, and railroad while
allowing the user to override certain ASTM C-76 calculations. The
calculations are performed in English or Metric units.
• LCA (lifecycle analysis) – What is the real cost
over the life of the project for the materials specified.

CAPE: (Cost Analysis Pipe Envelope) – is a great tool
to determine the cost and comparison of installations for both
rigid and flexible
installations.

BOXCAR:
BOXCAR is a software program that was jointly developed by the
ACPA and FHWA as a method of direct design and analysis for structural
precast reinforced concrete box sections.

DASH:
DASH, (Detention and Sewer Hydraulics) is a software program that
is designed to provide engineers with the necessary tools to design
a comprehensive storm water detention system using concrete pipe.
